How many days in hospital...

How many days are women usually in the hospital for a lap assisted vaginal hysterectomy with TVT? I was told 1 or 2 nights, but that doesn't seem like it is long enough.

I had TAH last Tuesday and I was out in three days. But I could have stayed an extra day but couldn't wait to get home and have my mom's care instead of the nurses.

Hello! I had a tvh-lso, I was only in the hospital for 26hrs. I was glad to get home. I had my DH and DD's to help me and even thought I had a semi private room our hospital is old and we shared a bathroom with the room next door. I felt I could rest better at home but make sure you have help. Good luck my prayers are with you.

I had a LAVH with BSO I had surgery at around 8 AM on 2 Nov and was home at around 2 PM the following day. I was ready to come home to be in my own bed. It was a great experience and now I am free of all the pain I had for so many years!

I had a LAVH/BSO on Wed morn at 7:30am and was discharged by 6:00pm on Friday and I was find and ready to go home.
