left sided pelvic/hip pain, endo-nerves?
This is my first time on hystersisters & I find it to be a wealth of information. I'm 2 1/2 weeks post hysterectomy & trying to find out if there is anyone out there that have left sided pelvic hip pain. I've had 2 surgeries within the last 30 days, first one removal of left sided ovarian cyst & endometrioma on left side. I know it is suppose to be more sore than the right side, but something was mentioned about possible endometriosis in the nerves? Thanks for all your help!!

left sided pelvic/hip pain, endo-nerves?
Hi Scoopie and
I am less than two weeks post op and had many adhesions and scar tissue on the left side. I find that my left side is much more tender than the right. I did ask my doctor about it and he said that the left side had required a lot more attention than the right and that it will be quite sore for a while.

left sided pelvic/hip pain, endo-nerves?
MY hyst was 5 years ago but I just had a salpingectomy last week. My left tube was filled with fluid and stuck to my bladder and pelvic wall. I have a lot of burning on the left side, not at the incision but above and to the left of it. At my post op visit yesterday I asked my doc and she said she may have pinched a nerve while holding the area open or it could be that is where she had to do more work. She said it would go away with time.

left sided pelvic/hip pain, endo-nerves?
Thank you so much for the replies, I'm still learning how to get around in this area, so not exactly sure what I'm doing. Your right, my right side and my incision areas are not sore at all, but feell like I'm carrying 25 pounds of luggage, left pelvic & hip area mainly in the evening. Still wearing the band support around my waist also for support, thought about the swelly belly thing, might be worth the investment. Thanks u all so much for your support, really appreciate it!!
