Bladder Sling

Hey ladies! I found out on Friday at my pre-op they are going to do the bladder sling during my hysterectomy! I was wondering how much pain you experience from that little procedure??? My gyn says I won't be able to tell but I can imagine there will be some pain affiliated with that! Thanks!!

I also had the procedure done with my hysterectomy and I had no pain associated with it. I guess your gyno is right! By the way, it is worth it.

my doc said that there is increased swelling of the urethra and you may have the catheter in a little longer. My doc did bladder scans on my bladder after I went wee after he took the catheter out to make sure I was emptying my bladder enough. If I hadn't the cath may have had to go back in, but luckily it didn't!
