Hysterectomy: May 4th, 1992
Hit by door and bruised near incision- should I worry?

I was walking by the bathroom today and my son opened it and hit me pretty hard with the knob. I had a LAVH/BSO on 05/04/01. The bruise is above one of the small incisions. It's bruising and a little tender. I'm not having any bleeding or internal pain. Should I worry about this?

It's always something new!!!

Donna,

OUCH! You should call your doctor just to be on the safe side. Ice might be helpful in keeping the bruising down.
