bio-identical hormones

Hi, I am 5 weeks post TAH/Bilat S+O. I am taking estroven only, hot flashes have decreased. Does any one know about natural hormone therapy? How do you know what to take, for what symptoms? Estrogen cream? Progesterone cream? I cannot fall asleep, My bowels are a mess, feel blue, spacey. I would like to try something, but do not know what I may need? Can anyone out there clue me in to which natural hormones, help what?

bio-identical hormones

Here is a link to our Hormone Articles with a lot of good informtion on hormones. Also if you want to ask any questions about hormones you will want to post in the Hormone Jungle. Natural or bio-identical hormones are still hormones, and have similar risks as synthetic ones. The good thing about bio-identical hormones is that they are most like what our ovaries made. Climara patch, Vivelle patch, and Estrace (pill form) can be gotten through gyn from regular pharmacy and not a compounding pharmacy where they make up unique dosages based on dr perscription from a dr who will work with you getting hormones specifically for you.
