Question about swelly belly band

Has anyone out there used that swelly belly band for swelling from a vaginal hysterectomy? Is it only for incision relief, or can it help a swollen belly regardless of the entry point?

I didn't use the band myself but found some support for my tummy was very soothing.
I know there are ladies who have used it with a tvh. Here are a couple of links to threads where it was discussed. I hope this helps some.
