has anyone else felt..............

among other symptoms, spotting, pain, bleeding, have you felt an unusual feeling of 'fullness' after even small meals? I have had issues with a lot of constipation that my GP attributed to IBS, my surgeon just told me last week she doubts it is IBS but that your bowel takes a long time to adjust after surgery (2 years??) anyway, just am thinking about lots of things prior to sugery (Yay....4 more days to wait) and wondered if this has been experienced by anyone else? Thanks

has anyone else felt..............

Hi Rochelle,
This past summer I was experiencing a lot of bowel sypmtoms...getting full quickly, stomach pain, alternating diahrrea and constipation. I just chalked it up to the incredible stress I was having with my daughter.

After having the salpingectomy, I would say those symptoms are 90% better. I am sure it was related.

has anyone else felt..............

I had a lot of bowel problems this year. Fullness, constipation, being uncomfortable when going. Turns out I had a large cyst that had adhered to my bowel, ureter tube and pelvic wall. The ultrasound only showed a 3.7 cm cyst. Since my latest surgery I have not had any bowel issues.

I'm glad you are getting things checked inside. I put it off and wish I hadn't.

Thank you both and I was kind of thinking it could possibly be related and like I said, only a short wait now to see. I keep thinking of all kinds of things and I can honestly say cooking Thanksgiving dinner increased the pelvic and left lower back pain, so much cleaning I think prior to and maybe even lifting the turkey in and out of the oven. Kim, I can relate to the stress of the teen daughter, I am wishing mine would have the grades she had in middle school! Now in high school? It matters most and she is more into social activities masking them by School Clubs...Well, I have a long list for her to complete in the next few weeks. Thank you as well Cecerose (love the name) but I have had these bowel symptoms as least since just prior to my colonoscopy last December, they found nothing so I said no more. I have learned persistance with your own medical issues really is a major key. Many blessings to all
