Round and Round we go....

OK.. Here it is: Had a TAH Oct 6th.. felt good after the surg.. up and walking around and thought for once in my life, something was going my way. The only prob I had was this ultra sensitive/sore area to the left side of my belly button since the surg. Doc sent me back to work 2 wks after surg.. ( have a desk job).. I felt Ok but still had the sore spot. Over the past 2 months this one sore spot has become a real SORE SPOT. Called the doc.. said it was normal and prob scar tissue, went to see him, said it felt like a small hernia and we would watch it.. Called him again a week later and I was referred to a general surgeon, saw the general surgeon and he said it was prob a hematoma and a CT scan was ordered. Pain getting worse everyday, decided to go to the ER before the CT scan. Spent 9 hours there waiting for a CT scan.. finally got one and come to find out.. its not scar tissue, not a hernia, and not a hematoma.. Its an infammed colon or colon infection. Oh and the general surg who just saw me had no idea who I was when the ER doc called him... What should I believe????? The most accurate or related information and advice I have ever received during this whole ordeal is from this website. If it wasnt for Hyster sisters, I would be lost.., so I am asking you all.. Has anyone ever had a constant, burning, swollen, soreness, crampy pain to the left of their belly button and if so.. what did it end of being? If it wasnt for this one spot.. I would feel like a million bucks. I am frustrated and starting to really get down about having this surg. I think I would rather have the enormous fibroids back.. at least I know how they are going to act up.. any words of wisdom?

Gosh at this point, I would take my scans and see another general surgeon for a third opinion. Sounds like a guy who doesn't remember your name is not going to be very useful. And the OB who keeps having you wait doesn't get that YOU know your own body. Follow your heart, keep pursuing until you get an answer that FEELS RIGHT! BIG HUGS!!!
