Packing (vaginal)

I think I remember either one of the nurses or the dr herself saying something about the packing still being up there for the vaginal cuff. When they first took the catheter out and I was going on my own, I would notice little pieces. A little bit ago though, it looked like part of a tampon laying in the bottom of the bowl. Is this normal? Do they really leave "packing" up in there?

Sorry if this is a little too personal, but I really appreciate any help you ladies can offer.

I had packing too, but the Dr took it out before my cathiter was removed. Since it was removed I have had very little bleading. You might want to ask your Dr about it.

I think you need to have a chat with your doctor as my packing was removed at the same time as my catheter. It seems unusual thta they would leave it there as most seem to have it removed at that time.
