Do you see hormones in my future?

I'm 33 and just returned from the castle with a LAVH, TOT sling and rectocele - kept both ovaries. I've been thinking about how young I am to already have "things" falling apart. I wondered if having all this done now in my life is setting the stage for future problems such as needing my ovaries removed or needing hormones? Any thoughts or experience with this? Thanks for your replies!

Do you see hormones in my future?

Every person is different. I am not on hormones, had my overies removed during surgery Nov 14th, and I will occasionally get hot when is relieved by drinking something cold. Other than that, no symptoms. I would wait and cross that bridge if you come to it. Just concentrate on the recovery.

Do you see hormones in my future?

I have to agree everyone is different. There really know way of knowing. I did keep both ovaries and they still have not kick in. I had surgery back in March. Sure I wont lie there has been some rough days. I just turned 32 and I am now on hormones and exffexor. But for me I try to remember I did think for my health.

Do you see hormones in my future?

I Had the same surgery as you and keep both overies ... I had the surgery in August and just recieved my blood test results yesterday saying overies are not fully working...So I now am starting a low dose of hormones .. I think you will Just know if you need something or not I worry because Im 31 and thats a long time to take hormones ... Even though I have some rough days there still not as bad as pre surgery ....Hang in there it will get better...

Thanks for the post guys - I'm a worry wart sometimes. I guess when one worry goes away I've begun looking for something else to worry about! UGH! I will just heal and see what comes. THANKS!
