Twinges at four weeks post-op

Hi everyone!
Happy New Year!!
I'm starting my fourth week and the last two days I've been getting these little pokes and twinges.
Has anyone else out there had anything like that?
They sure can be annoying.
Best in the New Year to everyone and a speedy recovery.

I had what I would descibe as a strange poking feeling in the vagina (felt like a pin prick) about that time - It wasn't terribly painful, mostly annoying. It turned out to be my stitches coming out - it only lasted a few days for me. HTH

Ph that's what that is! I figured it was. I am almost 4 weeks TAH (DEC 4)took everything. The strange pulling feeling in the vagina is getting old. I hope it only lasts a few days. It feels like someone is playing that yarn game cat's cradle in there. I hope the stiches will fall out soon. How long does that take?

Some never do see the stitches as they are dissolvable. Anywhere from about 3-12 weeks is considered normal with 6-7 weeks being the "average" time I think. I've seen a couple this past week.
I haven't had the "pulling feeling in the vagina" you describe but get weird pressure/pulling by both hips late in the day. Dr. says that's where he stitched the inner layers. ugh!

I too have that burning where my stitches are. Don't have any vaginal discomfort though. Maybe because I had TAH. I havethat burning twinge on both sides though, even though I kept my right ovary. Dr did remove a cyst on the right one so I still have stitches there. I am feeling the discomfort in my hips once in a while also. Almost feels like it's in my hip bones. Kinda strange. I'm still taking the Advil during the day, Tylenol PM at night.

This is sure a sanity saver, just knowing your not the only one.
