Cravings?

I am one week out from my LAVH/BSO and I am craving potato chips (I have gone thru the bag that I had here) since I have been on my own since Sunday until around 7pm, for anything I have been eating pretty much 1/2 ham sandwiches on whole wheat and chips. I did put a potato in the microwave and warmed up some spinach tonight but am craving those darn chips. Is anyone else having craving? This is so weird!!!!!

Cravings?

I craved all sorts of weird things like grapefruit juice, and (don't faint) hated chocolate for about three weeks. Sacrilege, I know, but I couldn't help myself. It's okay. Darn hormones.

Cravings?

I actually went off ice cream .... (sadly, 3 weeks out, I'm right back on it), and craved, like you, salty things. In the end I didn't find anything matched up to tuna mayo which I ate loads of. I reckon it's your body healing and saying what it needs.
The craving went for me, especially when I came off the pain killers and started going for walks.
DH and I have laughed ourselves silly about getting cravings when the unit that does pregnancy and cravings has been removed!!

Cravings?

YES!!! I thought it was just me. I am waking in the middle of the night and eating chocolate. I only used to do this when I was PMSing. I see my Dr today and am gonna try and find out why I am still doing this. I was thinking it's a hormone thing. Enjoy your chips-At least the salt will encourage thirst-thus you will have to drink more water.Hugs!

Cravings?

For me, it's oranges. I eat three or four a day and still want more. I keep sending my hubby to the store for more of them. I know it's not a fun craving like chips or chocolate, but what are you going to do--it's what my body wants!

Cravings?

Thank God someone brought this up! I'm craving popcorn and of all things hamburgers. I stopped drinking soda because of the gas, and I really haven't missed it (maybe that's a good thing). DH is having a challenge figuring out what I want for dinner. I craved chocolate for the first couple of days, but I'm not focused on it anymore.

Cravings?

OH no I have run out of chips!!! I did whip up some tuna salad and was able to eat 1/2 sandwich and it satisfied my salt craving. Thanks Malteaser for the idea, did not even occur to me.
