Anyone have enlarged ovaries

I had a TVH last week and was told that I have enlarged ovaries. Anyone have this same problem? Wondering what it's about . Other than that everything else went fine.

Sometimes, the doctors report something that turns out to be perfectly normal. My sonogram last year found that I had "thickening of the endometrium" (in addition to 13 cm of fibroids). Well, my GYN said the thickening was normal for my age and the time of month test was taken. So, the moral to this story is, please call and ask the doctor what "enlarged ovaries" means, and if anything should be done. I would guess that since it sounds like your ovaries were left behind, they are healthy.

Bee&Butterfly has GREAT advice! Any test result or diagnosis we get (like large ovaries, or a small uterus in my case) can actually be "normal" for us. A quick call to your doctor can let you know if having enlarged ovaries is a problem, or if it's simply different - like someone being taller than average.

I hope you'll call your doc. It can give you the opportunity to learn anything special you might need to know about enlarged ovaries, and can help put your mind at ease if this does turn out to be "normal" for you.
