Checking In

Yesterday was my 6 week mark. I don't go back to the doctor for another week. I really started feeling like my old, but improved self 2 days ago. I've had lots of family around to help with driving, so I didn't try until yesterday. I drove to get my nails done and Wal-Mart for a few quick items. I am sore & a bit tired today. My body tells me when I am trying to lift anything I shouldn't, which seems to be my biggest challenge. That and figuring out what my body will digest without complications. I made a list of things to do and give it a look when I get bored. My hormones seem to stay in check as long as I take my Estrace every morning. I actually feel better now than I have in years. I don't miss the monthly cramps, migranes and weight up/downs. My husband & father have been like guard dogs in reminding me that I have limitations. I really appreciate everyone sharing their challenges so I don't feel alone. Happy thoughts to everyone for continued healing.

I'm so glad you're beginning to feel like yourself again! It just takes some time. It sounds like you've been a good princess and being taken good care of by your DH and father. I hope everyday gets better and better for you!

Best wishes for a continued good recovery!

s, Deb
