Dry Eyes?

I have noticed that my eyes feel dry and burning a little for the last couple of weeks. Of course I have cried alot over the past couple of weeks (very emotional). Has anyone else experienced this?

Dry Eyes?

Yes I did too --- I think that's why they tell you not to wear contacts for a few weeks after any surgery.

Dry Eyes?

You could try natural tears but I wouldn't use it a lot. I have heard that if you use it for a prolonged period of time your tear ducks won't function like they use to.. But short time use wouldn't hurt. I would call your eye doctor and explain that you had surgery and your eyes are dry now. They should be able to give you some advice. And if you don't have a eye Dr. just call one and I'm sure they would be more than happy to help you.

dry burning eyes

I posted a week ago that my eyes were dry and burning but I thought it was from pain meds, then I thought it was from the heat being on and drying the air out, then I blamed it on allergies. I then developed what I thought was a stye that didn't go away home treating it with warm compresses. My eye doctor saw me and said their is no connection between my hysterectomy and my eyes. But I think that although allergies and dry air have made it worse, it has to be related. (Need lubrication for sex, doesn't that mean other areas would be dryer too? ) Rather than eye drops that may have other long term effects try using plain saline solution (like for contacts, or rewetting solution) Good luck
