Sex issues..

Okay so I finished my treatment for my bladder infection and I'm still having sex issues. Without getting into too much detail I just want to say that DH is still having entry problems. I don't have lubrication issues just issue with my vagina feeling a bit snug now. I also have these shooting pains during intercourse.

Anyone have the same problem?

Hi boxers4me,

I'm sorry you're having this problem - I can understand why that would be frustrating.

I'm including a link to an article we have here at HysterSisters regarding Vaginal Issues Post-Op . Toward the bottom of the article you may find some information that would be helpful. I would really encourage you to give a quick call to your doctor about this - not that anything is necessarily wrong, but just so your doc can offer you some reasons for this or some suggestions.

Please don't feel alone in this - many Sisters notice a difference after surgery. It often requires some communication with your doc and significant other, and also some patience. The good news is that things usually turn out to be just fine. I hope this works out well for you, and don't forget we're here for you whenever you need us.

I to am a little tighter "down there". It was a little uncomfortable at first but nothing a little lube didn't fix. Now it is actually quite a treat ---- if you know what I mean !!!!!!!

Sex issues..

How frustrating! I am actually afraid to have sex again! Mind you I still have a few weeks to wait until I am allowed but I haven't been intimate with my hubby in over a year (just had a c-section 4 months ago and now hysterectomy on the 8th) Let me know if you find anything that helps out because when it comes to my turn to get frisky I don't want to be afraid! I hear that can make things worse! I used to love intimacy but since children I really don't seem interested too much! Too darn tired I guess! Doesn't help that my DH isn't exactly a small man if you know what I mean! Good luck and keep my posted!

I'm so happy that I'm not the only one! Not that I'm wishing bad things on you or anything.

I'm so aggrivated today. I thought that my bladder infection had cleared up and I've been to the bathroom 13 times since 7am this morning and I'm feeling pressure down there again. I have to start a new round of antibiotics. Maybe that is still why I am having those shooting pains?

Sex issues..

Weird, I am peeing like a racehorse as well! Ever since they took the catheter out last Tuesday 9th, I have been going every half and hour! Gosh I hope I don't need to get my bladder hoisted up now! It is annoying! SO I feel your pain! And when I have to pee it is like I gotta go right now or else! I don't have any pain so I don't think it is an infection! I have had a UTI before and they suck! Well, keep me posted on things and best of luck!

Try not to be scared! That will make it worse! Sort of like the first time again! LOL Maybe have a few drinks to loosen up before the act of lovin' (if you drink) If not, tell him to be sensitive and to remember the foreplay! And most of all JUST ENJOY!
