New Staples???

I had an appointment with my Dr. today. My left incision is still quite purple and I have some tenderness.
She poked around and decided that the tenderness is due to my bowels. She asked if my stools are harder than usual and I said yes...so she recommended that I either do some sort of softener or up the prunes.

The color of my incision is due to the stitch abcess that I had as well as the fact that a mole was removed at that site as well.

Cool.

Now on to staples. So, on my way in to her office, a button on my blouse popped off. Of course, not the one at the bottom....NOOOOOO...it was right in the middle of the five buttons! So, here is my Dr., a surgeon, with the stapler from her desk, stapling my blouse closed. It was hilarious! I said "Now this gives a whole new meaning to the term stomach stapling". LOL!
