Sherry,
What kind of HRT are you using? If you give us details maybe we can help.

10 months and life is passing me bye
Hi Sherry,
I know how u are feeling, I feel the same way. I have no energy to do things, it takes all I have to go to work and keep this place in shape. I fall into bed at night exhausted. I use to be able to do things and have more energy than most people, but not anymore. I have more problems now than I did before the hyst, as far as I am concern I wish I had never had the hyst. My life was much better before.

becky thank you for listening i'm taking ortho-prefest for 6 months no hot flashes thank heavens couldn't tolerate premarin it made my blood pressure go up and had anxiety thats gone but so is my spirit and energy i've had many utis and had recently found to have some glyomas they attribute to scar tissue where i was stitched internally only found that after months of bleeding and that showed chronic inflammation after biobsy imagine took 6 months to find out that my blood work for cbc and thyroid are normal so must be hormone related i think i'm going to ask better yet demand hormone levels this week at my check up any more suggestions i'm all for it

Sherry,
I can not comment on the surgical after effects...for that I would recommend trying "the road less traveled" As far as the hormones go...orthoprefest is not a bio identical HRT. Many women have trouble when taking hormones that are not identical to the hormones the human body produces. There are bio identical hormones available. It might be a good idea to get your hormone levels checked, but more importantly make sure that your doctor knows how to interpret them. If you are unsure about your doctors knowledge of hormones you might want to find a doctor who is knowledgable about hormones and HRT.
If you need help finding such a doctor, perhaps finding a compounding pharmacist first would be a good idea. Compounding pharmacists make up your hormones to meet your needs and are usually aware of the doctors who are knowledgable about hormones. They(the compounding pharmacist) also become part of your health care team. In order to find a compounding pharmacist in your area, one of the following organizations can help youInternational Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP)
