Anyone else feel very hungry while on Estradiol?

Hello, everyone! I've been on Estradiol 2 mg for 10 weeks now, and 1 mg for 2 weeks before that, and the depression has gone and I feel *so* much better! No more night sweats or hot flushes either! Only problem is I do feel very hungry a lot of the time. My doctor told me the reason many women put on weight with the hrt is not the meds itself, but the fact that it actually makes you feel hungry so you eat more. Has anyone else found this? So far I'm not eating more and have actually lost some weight since I'm back in my exercizing regime, but the hollow stomach feeling is horrible. Will it eventually go as my body gets more used to the estradiol? Good wishes to everyone in your recovery! Hugs, Kimble.

Yes, I have that problem when I am on hrt, but it helped to be on the lowest dose I could handle. I still had a little warm spell now and then , but it was worth taking the lower dose. I also continue to exercise and eat high protein, low fat, and tons of veggies and fruit. I have switched to whole grains in everything, and low or no sugar products.

Hang in there
