I have a Cystocele

I am Three Years post op ( January ) All along i have had some Issues, I suppose nothing too serious But they are coming to a head over the three years!

I have always had some minor Pain issues! Shortly before I had my Hyster i had a laparoscopy to diagnose some of the issues I was having and shortly after that I started having these fleeting ( read excrutiating ) Ovarian Ovulation Pains ( so I believe thats what it is ) upon Investigation I only ever received the diagnosis of ADHESIONS! Ok So I odnt know much about adhesions other than the fact that they are Scar Tissue Until Recently i didnt realize how much havoc they can play!

I more or less learned to deal with that pain .... In Dec of 06 I had such a bad attack of these pains that I went to the ER. They were unsure if it was appendicitis .. and that was that ( it must not have been ) When I went to my reg Fam Dr. I Discussed this all with him and he concurred with the Adhesions and said he would send me for a cat scan to really sort whats going on out!
I havent gone for that yet, and the pain hasnt gotten as bad as it did this past Dec. Hopefully it wont!
I have my regular period pain minus the period some months and I almost ALWAYS seem to be "ovulating" from teh Right Ovary!
Another thing im experiencing is pink dishcarge, I beleive that is Blood, It is never alot but it is there from time to time. Intercourse has also gotten painful frequently ( not always ) and I have noticed a few times .... ( how do i say this politely and like a lady .. ? ) That the fluid aftermath ( haha ) Was very pink with blood , Not streaked or spotty but ALL of it ! Its frustrating as I have searched and searched for any information POST Hyster and there isnt alot other than Peri Menopause ! Does or has anyone experienced any of this ? Is This Peri Menopause ?! Any Advice or Help Would be GREATLY! appreciated!

I have a Cystocele

I believe that you need to have the CT scan and get a firm diagnosis. Given your age, the diagnosis for you is not perimenopause. However, all the continued pain and the bleeding is not typical and I believe that you've waited it out long enough. In addition, it sounds like things are getting worse and not improving. I don't know much about your health care system in Canada but here in the US, if your CT scan did not turn up anything you would probably end up with a diagnostic lap and adhesion removal if needed. Just my humble opinion....Best of luck to you!

I have a Cystocele

Thanks Lauralis! I do know I need to follow through with the CT SCAN I believe it would be the same set up here if the CT didnt show much!
However I had a frightening experience today as I realized There was something at the opening of the Vaginal Canal .. Well Turns out some of that Bleeding and painful intercourse is due to a Grade 2 Cystocele ... WONDERFUL .. Someone PLS tell me why its GREAT to bea woman .. Today I forget ! It was a rather embarassing thing to have to be seen by A dr about .. a man .. a good looking STRANGE man .. I made it through and he was WONDERFUL about it ... But yeah there is HALF the mystery solved... He figured that i did have some adhesion issues which might require surgery ... and This Fallen Bladder Stuff will def require surgery and My Orignal Hyster Critics ( we all have them arent they FUN ? ) Have taken up the cause of .. WAS it because of the hyster .. ? I have spent most of the evening explaining how common it truly is and had not alot to do with the hyster ( even though yes that can contribute to it! ) *sigh*

Glad you got an answer! Even if it wasn't a fun answer to get, at least it was an explanation for the bleeding and will hopefully set you on the road to treatment. Good luck! Oh yeah, ....I have several of those critics myself!
