EEK! 6 weeks today!

Hi ladies!! I was wondering...Hubby and I were intimate for the first time on Sun night(2 days short of 6 weeks) and it hurt! It was like a burning/ tearing feeling! Now, 2 days later my who-ha just seems to throb! I have not bleeding or spotting, and hate to call my Dr., b/c I am sure this is "normal"! Do you think that it was because I didn't wait the extra 2 days? Gosh, I was NOT expecting it to be like this!!! I still had my stitches at my 4 week check-up(Vag cuff), or do you think it could be coming from that? I am REALLY scared to even try again!!! I have also noticed that by about 4-5 o'clock, I am exhausted! I have a 3 & 8 yr old that are very energetic...starting at 6:30 am! I was not able to take a nap since the surg, and Sat I almost collapsed on the couch at 2:30pm, I did awake refreshed until about 8:00 pm, them I was so TIRED! My Dr DID warn me of this but......gosh this is awful!! Does anyone know of any vitamins that seem to help with the energy part of this? Or have I just done waaaaaay too much and NOW it has FINALLY hit me??Thanks to all who have read this nagging post, and have taken time to respond, cause one thing I HAVE learned from this site is that you are NEVER alone with any symptom! And that other ladies advice usually always works!!!

Call your doctor. Any time you have new or different pain, you need to let your doctor know and let the medical professional decide if it is normal or not. It is possible you have not completely healed causing pain with intercourse.

Your doctor may also have suggestions to help with your energy level.
