Can things get worse?

Well, I have to admit, surgery went well, no post op bleeding or discharge. But, after coming home, have managed to get measles, and now things r really getting nasty. Tired, don't want to do anything, and am having difficulty fighting off the depression that has already been looming due to work related injury. Bf has been awsome, but I am finding it difficult 2 go from working 16hr days and doing everything for household, 2 doing nothing. I don't even want 2 b touched most days.
Was called in 2 c surgeon on Monday, and was told that they found a cancerous growth in the muscles of my uterus........boy what a ride this past week has been. A catch 22.....if surgery wasn't done, it wouldn't of been found until too late.....I have 2 have faith and I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason...I just feel as though I am being tested, but @ this point, it is my family that is suffering.

Wow Timid, my heart goes out to you...you have been through it...it sounds as though you have strong support which is important...and yes it is a catch 22-thank goodness you had the surgery....know that you are in my prayers and stay strong!!! Keep us posted please

The Lord Has Not Been Testing You But Has Allowed This To Happpen. Our Lord Knew You Had Cancer And Therefore Knew You Needed To Get Your Uterus Out. The Lord Has Given You A New Life. I To Had A Hysterectomy A Couple Of Years Ago, ( I Kept My Ovaries) Today Is My Anniversary Of That Surgery. I To Did Not Want To Be Touched And I Suffered From Depression As Well, I Had To Start On A Low Dose Of Estrogen. It Takes Some Time To Get Back To Yourself, I Have Learned Some Things About Myself The Past Couple Of Years And I Have Grown. As Far As Your Family Is Concerned, They Will Be Fine, And In The Meantime Will Come To Realize You Are Only Human And Need Some Tender Loving Care As Well, So Don't Start Feeling Sorry For Them Because They Will Only Work On Your Emotions.
