I can imagine how upsetting this is. Did they take your cervix? If so I didn't think was any need for pap smears.

Anyway, hang in there and I hope everything resolves itself real soon.

Hi! I also had my hyster due to cancer cells... and let me tell you how SHOCKED I was to learn that even if they take your cervix, the cells canstill come back. SHOCKED!!!!!
There is a messgae board on this site- i think it's under cancer? Scroll down past the post op message board and ou'll find it. There are lots of women dealing with the very same thing ou are now. Even though we no longer have a cervix, we still have to get paps. I think they call them vaginal cuff smears.
Anyway... I'm so so sorry you're dealing with this. I know it's scary.
Honestly, I would find a GYN/ONC to see you. I absolutely love my Gyn, but after hearing about cells coming back and reading things on this site and others, it sounds like the smartest and most proactive thing to do for your health is to see a Dr. who specializes in gynecological cancers. Get yourself in to see one so that you will feel better and have all your questions answered from an expert!!
Hugs to you- and please keep us posted!!
