endo cancer x2

Three years ago i ended up in the ER because i was feeling dizzy and i had been bleeding for about 3 weeks by then. when the tests were done that nigh the doctor said that my hemoglobin was at 8 and to follow up with my regular Dr because it looks like the bleeding is going to be stopping. Well 3 months later the bleeding hadn't stopped totally and my hemoglobin had gotten to 6.6. which means i had 1/2 the blood i needed in my body.
That time my Endo Cancer was just a stage 1 and was fixed with 3 D&C's and a prescription of Megace.
In December of 2006 i got a call from my GYN. She said that the Cancer has come back and it is more aggressive. This time the cancer broke through the Megace therapy and was a stage 3.
On Jan 30 i had a total Hysterectomy. They took everything just to make sure. well i had some complications during surgery so they couldn't get enough lymph node to be sure the cancer didn't leave my uterus. So almost 3 weeks ago i started Chemotherapy and when that is done in June they say i will need 40 treatments of radiation.
Everyone i meet says that i am too young to have to do all this (33 years old). well that might be true but i believe that God has a plan for all of us and mine included cancer.
The crazy thing is that since my hysterectomy i have felt better than i have in years. i have more energy and don't feel yucky all the time. I have alot of treatment left but i am not going to let that get me down.

Endo Caner x2 update

Hello
I wanted to write and update my progress. I am done with Chemotherapy I had 5 treatments. They are not fun but they were not as bad as the movies and TV make it look. Right now i am getting a second opinion on the Radiation therapy. I went to the consultation with the radiation oncologist and i don't know if the long term side effects are worth the small benefits that are to be achieved.
I have been feeling great but i was wondering if anyone has any ideas that work to control hotflashes and night sweats??
