Lot's of bathroom trips, 3 weeks post-op, anyone else?

I am 3 weeks post op, radical hysterectomy. Just started going to the bathroom more then usual. (just like I did pre op). Before that was because my uterus was 2 1/2 times the size due to the endometrial cancer. Now that I have had everything removed, I wouldn't think I should still feel this way?

Does anyone else have this symptom??

I'm sorry you're having these problems. Have you had a word with your doctor? It could be a number of things, the most common of which would be an infection ~ these can be a problem following surgery for some.

The only way to find out for sure is to check with your doctor, I'm afraid. I hope things improve for you real soon.

I think you should call the dr. Could it be the beginning of a UTI? Hope you feel better.

It might be a UTI, or it might be that your bladder is healing from the surgery and it's going into spasm. I would call the doc like the other Sisters have mentioned, just to be sure.
