A Day from hell!

Yesterday was the worse day ever. I had phoned the gyno and explained that I was running a fever, chills, back ache, etc. He told me the he thinks that it is a bladder or kidney infection. I grew up with bladder infections and to me this time it didn't seem like that. He phoned me in Levaquin, which I had to have my neighbor pick up for me. That was around 2.By the time my children came home (5) I was in tears. My vagaga hurt so bad. It was throbbing, I did everything to elevate my rear so it was above my heart, that didn't work, I took a sip of water had to go to the bathroom and only a dribble would come out. I was absolutely misserable. My neighbor phoned around 5 to check on me and once again I was in tears with the pain. She in returned phone her friend who was a nurse and she explained to her what I was feeling. She said to picture having an ear ache. I'll tell you what it was worse than being in labor and delivering a 10 lbs baby. She came over and help my husband get me under control. I had been off Darvocet for 2 days they made me take some to get the edge off. It took about an hour to feel somewhat better. I have be alternating Davorcet and Motrin 800. There is still so much pressure. I am not getting of the couch today. Then this morning day #2 of my DH being an absolute crab. I can't handle it anymore. Well ladies thank you for letting me vent. I hope is much better. The doctor said that if I wasn't better in 48 hours to come to his office for some more test. yEAH ME.. I hope everyone is doing better than me.

A Day from hell!

Hi Kim
I hear you! Ouch! I am hurting for you on the other side of the world! Perhaps you should see your Dr before 48 hours? Sometimes you have to be forceful about it. My Doc brushed me off via his receptionist and without even talking to me, with "It's probably nothing" over something that turned out to be quite serious. Please put your mind at rest by seeing him. I do also hope you get your pain under control soon.
Thinking of you

A Day from hell!

So sorry you are not feeling well. I would call the dr again and tell them you cannot wait to be seen, that your pain is not easing up. I hope you feel better soon.

A Day from hell!

I developed a vaginal cuff infection. I only ran a low grade fever but my vagina was felt raw, irritated and it throbbed. It felt like I had rocks in my vagina. It took 2 days on 2 antibiotics before I felt much better. However, I was checked out by my dr. I was diagnosed last Wed. and have to go back today for them to check my bloodwork. I don't want to go because I feel better but I would rather be safe than sorry.

I hope you feel better soon.
