Bio-identical hormones - once or twice a day?

Hi all -
I had an LSH BSO 7 weeks ago. I started on bio-identical estrogen and testosterone, and we've had to increase the estrogen 3 times, and the testosterone twice. I was taking it in the morning with breakfast. Symptoms seemd OK during the day, but were much worse at night. I decided to empty out half the capsule contents into another capsule, and take one at breakfast, and one at dinner. i'm sleeping much better, without so many hot flashses and night sweats. This just might be the ticket!

I'm wondering if anyone else takes them twice a day? If this works, I'll ask the Doc to write a script for half the dose, taken twice a day. (Instead of having my kitchen look like a cocaine den, with white estrogen powder on the counter!)

Anything you can do to keep the levels of hormones in your body even is a good thing. Creative thinking can definitely find you a path through the jungle.
