Vaginal cuff stitched to tight - fact or myth

I have heard a vaginal cuff can be stitched to tight causing internal vaginal pain. Since I have pain deep inside on the left side to the point where I feel like I am being poked my a tampax (it hurts the worst when sitting in car driving). I am wondering what anybody else has heard or experienced. The dr. said that being stitched isn't possible and that it is just how I am healing. This has been going on 6 months and I have been examined and tested. Nothing is wrong. I know this is a good things, but where does the pain come from?

You may be experiencing dryness, and your vagina might need some estrogen. I have problems if I don't use estrogen cream inside . I get pulling, itching, bladder issues, and eventually pain if I neglect this.
