6 Days post Op and very worried

It's been six days since my surgery and I can't believe what is happening. Yesterday I went to the ER because of a high fever and one of my inscisions from the LSH is very swollen and bulging. It is currently the size of half a fist. I had a catscan done and was sent home with antibiotics. The doctor told me that there seems to be a blood clot forming on the inscision and that is also shows an abscess that has formed between the bladder and rectum. He prescribed antibiotics and told me to take them for 48 hrs. I am very concerned about the bulge which is getting bigger, and the abscess. I am just not feeling better and getting worse with each passing day. Has anyone has any similar problems from the LSH? I am very depressed and just fear what is going to happen next!

Griselle, I am sending you hugs and you know you have been in our thoughts and prayers.
I agree, call your Dr. Tell him what has been going on the past six days, tell you went to the ER, tell him what the tests said - talk to him, not his nurse, not an ER doctor - Talk To Your Doctor - Please.
I agree with Pirategril - do not mess around with this! I am concerned and worried, keep us posted!
Love you!!! Zella
