how long is hospital stay

I'm having BSO tomorrow and wanted to know how long I'll be in the hospital, I forgot to ask. My surgery is a 7.30 am and I have to be there at 5.30 am. I'm so scared but I belive in God and I know I will be ok but any extra prayers would be nice.

Thank you for asking, I got home Monday, the surgery was suppose to be 1hr and ended up being 3hrs, they went to do it laporscopic and when they got in there they could'nt see anything so they had to cut me open again, my colon and intestines and left ovary was adhered to my abdomin wall. But I'm home now and relaxing hoping my recovery is less this time.

I am soo glad to hear that you are doing good, and yes I hope your recovery this time is less. At least they found a reason for your pain. I go back on 5/2/07 to see if the cyst is gone (Which I KNOW that it's not, b/c I am still hurting, and now I am also hurting on the left) then if it is still there, we will discuss surg. Again, I hope you have a speedy and uneventful recovery this time around! HUGGGGS!

I had two cat scans and seen a surgeon and did every test the ultra sound showed the cyst but no other test will show adhesions, so have your doc check that out. I'm sure if he goes in for the cyst you will find out you have adhesions. The cyst was only small part of my pain. I can tell things are going to be better this time, I can tell the pain is so much less.
