Thursday surgery

Having LAVH, possible TAH on thursday. I am a little nervous; I had c-sections with all 3 of my daughters, so I know about the pain and the gas and the recovery; but that was almost 16 years ago for my last. I am 43 (on May 21) now and about 30 lbs heavier, so not the same body. My dr. said with having had 3 c-sections the chance for finding plenty of scarring in there is likely, that's why we trying first for the LAVH, but it could turn out to be a TAH. Does anyone know anything about the connection between c-sections and having alot of scarring? Were you still able to have the LAVH?
Thanks for any input.

Thursday surgery

I had an sah but did not try for anything different. I had a lot of fibroids and did not know until surgery (I had 2 c-sections) but as quoted by my dr during surgery "an abundance of adhesions" that they had to remove before they got to my organs. Afterwards I asked him about it and he said everyone gets adhesions after surgery and for some people it causes problems and others it does not. I don't know if this helped you but good luck with your surgery.
