Weight loss/gain

Hey Ladies,
My concern today is weight. Is there hope for weight loss after a hyst? I am about 25-30 pounds over weight. I have tried everything to lose weight, with no luck. I was hoping that after I got my female problems taken care of that the weight loss might be a little easier. If so, how and when did you go about it. I am only 2 wks post-op. Thanks.

I am 3 weeks post-op and have lost 4 pounds since my surgery. The biggest thing you can do for now due to limited activity and exercise is to drink drink drink! WATER is your best friend. I drink over 100 ounces a day. If I cannot sip it down I chug it down. You will feel like you are floating but it will curb your urge to eat and flush what you do have in there at the same time.

I have lost 158 pounds (none of them repeats) in the past 3 years and have lived to tell about it. I have 10 pounds to go.

You have less to travel and can make it!

Iam 2 weeks post op from LAVH also. I had lost 20 pounds until all my problems started. Before my surgery I gained 8 back due to stress eating. Now I've gained 2 more, a total of 10 pounds. I'm not sure how to get it under control. I am also drinking at least 64 to 100 ounces of water a day and it does curve appetite. If anyone has anymore suggestions please let us know. I am so afraid of gaining weight that I have dreams at night of weight gain.
