Colposcopy

Well ladies, I had my colposcopy last Thursday, and Thanks be to God he couldn't find any abnormal areas to biopsy. He searched long and hard, but found nothing! I was so happy! So cancer head is at bay for now....don't have to go back until October for my 6 month vault smear.

Have a great day and God Bless!!

Thanks! No he didn't repeat the pap, I assume because of the vinegar solution that he used during the colopscopy would have changed the ph...not really sure about that. Do you know?

And how are you doing with your latest results?

Colposcopy

sometimes the doctor will re-do the pap during a colposcopy just to confirm results he's seeing. probably because you had ascus, it wasn't considered as imperative. i see you're following up in 6 months, so that's good! it's good to get a fully normal pap.
thanks for asking about me. i have a colposcopy scheduled this wednesday!
