Can't wait!

I have a fibriod that is over 15 cm sitting on my indometrian wall and a large cyst on my ovary and a forward tilted uterus. I have been in constant pain since November and have not been able to really sit since January. I have no energy and am going insane. I have very heavy bleeding and lots of clots - worse every month - and I am on Yasmin to try to control it. My Dr. finally decided it was enough and I am scheduled for May 14. I have no idea how long I have had my fibroid but in Novemeber I had pain so bad it knocked me to the floor and I couldn't move at all for over 30 minutes. I am a person who is always on the go. I work 50-65 hours a week as a photographer, have 5 children and am active in church and community. Now I struggle to work 6 hours a day and go home and crawl in bed. Hope this solves the pain!

Can't wait!

Best wishes to you! I can only speak from my personal experience, but I feel better 1 week post-op than I have in over a year!!!!! I had a LAVH / RSO and am still a little sore but over all I feel like a completely new person.
I hope you feel the same sense of personal renewal after your trip to the castle.
God Bless

Can't wait!

Good luck foxy, and I hope all your worries and pain are banished when you have your op.
I couldn't imagine coping with that and 5 children, you deserve a medal!
my girlfriend whom is waiting for her date for a total hyst. has fibroids and a cyst that is 15cm which is sitting on her bladder and causes terrible incontinence. The really cruel thing about her fate is that she has never been able to carry a pregnancy to full term, I think she has miscarried 4 times, and because her cyst is so big it makes her appear 9 months pregnant and everywhere we go people are always asking her what her due date is It's awful and I often feel very sad for her and at how cruel the fickle finger of fate can be at times. She has spent her life helping other peoples children, taking many into her own home to stay if they are having problems at home and spoiling them rotten and giving them lots of love. Her and her husband even came on an adventure holiday with us to New Zealand while awaiting her hospital date in her condition and didn't let it spoil her fun at all. She was a pleasure to travel with, still being her usual loving, jovial and totally unselfish self for 31/2 weeks, at times travelling in a mini bus for up to 7 hours a day. She is an inspiration to me and it keeps me from feeling too sorry for myself when I think of what my poor dear friend has had to endure.
Try to stay positive and think of the light at the end of the tunnel.
Best of luck to you
P.s. I have told my g/f about this site so hopefully she maybe able to give you a supportive post also soon.
