How fast time goes!

Happy hysterversary to me! It was 6 years ago today. I remember waiting in the pre op holding area when the power failed due to wind storms. The back up generator kicked on, but my surgery was delayed till the real power came back on. Luckily that didn't take too long, otherwise my surgery might have been cancelled. I'm here for my annual visit to Beyond the Land Of Hyster to give my thanks to Kathy and the wonderful ladies here who got me through the emotional ups and downs and tears pre op and the wonderful support I got post op. Its wonderful to have a system where you can learn and have support from when one is going through a scary time. I turned 50 this year! I don't feel 50 and I'm not going to let the number scare me! I started using estrace vaginal cream with my last gyn visit for dryness which has helped. Everything else is working fine, so I have no complaints. Life is good. Thank you again Kathy and ladies for continuing this wonderful site for everyone to learn and be helped. Hugs ~ Jan

Congrats Jan! Today is my one year anniversary and I am so happy that I had it done. Have had no problems and just started having hot flashes. Can't complain. It has been an exciting year. My daughter (my only) got married a few weeks ago. Life is good. Wish everyone could have had their recovery as easy as mine.
