Very personal question....

Has anyone who isn't quite at the post op point...... Had an orgasam yet? I must say that me and DH have never been the kind to actually wait the 6 weeks (we have 3 kids) but this time i'm insistent on. We did though however............. "other things" and I had one today and it was pretty darn good!

However... I did get this sharp pain in my side afterward ( It comes and goes but i've had it all along, I went for 2 week check up and everything is good, except I have a bladder infection) and it totally scared me and kinda freaked me out, so i'm not sure i'll be doing that again anytime soon. Just wondering if any one else has been in this boat. Any comments or suggestions (like stop being so hot and wait ) or anything is appreciated. Thanks.

Actually, just the other I may have experienced the same thing...wink,wink! LOL
Best I felt in a LONG time!!!! I am anxious for the real thing as soon as I feel better.
DH told me today that I look hotter than ever, something is just different...
Thinking this might be the LONGEST 6 weeks of my life.
I am feeling more "frisky" the past couple days even though I am sick as a dog!
Possibly this is the upside of the hyst! And I will take it with open arms....

I had what was probably a similar ache/pain when I had my first after the surgery. If I remember right, the discomfort I felt didn't last very long. Did you mention anything to your doctor? If not, you can always give him/her a call and ask. I called mine with so many questions but he was always fine with it. Really wasn't given too many restrictions for the 'other' stuff... if it didn't hurt, it was OK. Hubby and I did wait the 6 weeks, but then there was no stopping us LOL! If the Doc's okay with it - just enjoy each other and 6 weeks will be here before ya know it

It is best to ask your doctor specifically what you are allowed and not allowed to do. We are all given different instructions based on our surgery and our bodies. And yes there are doctors who say that you should NOT have an orgasm until you are specifically released by your doctor.
