Return of Menopause symptoms?

Hello! I had my LAVH in 2001 and have no ovaries. I did not do HRT and have managed pretty well. The hot flashes and night sweats were pretty bad for about a year and then gradually stopped. About six months ago the night sweats started again and then sporadic hot flashes. The night sweats are almost every night and I am drenched and have to change clothes. I thought I was done with this! Have anyone had menopause symptoms return after they had stopped? HELP!

I am not sure what may cause hot flashes to start back up. I think our bodies hormones are ever changing as we get older. Stress and weight change can affect hormones .

I would see my doctor, maybe get your hormones tested and see if your body is just not taking or making any hormones for you. The adrenal gland makes hormones . The thyroid might have something to do with it as well.
