Canada,
I can't speak to the prolapse bladder issue too much. But noticed no one had responded yet, and just wanted to send my wishes and a I'm sorry to hear this is happening just when you think you're in the clear. From what I've read, it very well might be a prolapsing bladder. But I've not been experiencing this, so don't take my word on it. Hopefully, the more bladder experienced sisters will get on soon.

I will say that I know Kathiem1954 had very good luck doing PT for her bladder problem if it turns out that's what is going on with you. You may want to contact her if she doesn't pipe in on your thread.

Good luck to you and we're here for you if you need us.LJC

Canada28--The symptoms of bladder prolapse tend to be felt more in the vagina than in the bladder itself. If it is truly annoying you, have your GYN examine you and see if you are having any type of prolapse in the vagina at all.

Symptoms of other bladder problems can cause a heavy-type feeling, too. A UTI (urinary tract infection) or other bladder problems. If your symptoms continue, the best thing to do is have them checked out by either your PCP or your GYN and see what they recommend.

If you do end up having pelvic floor problems, a urogynecologist (UroGYN) is generally acknowledged as the specilaist to see.

Sending S....

Hello,
I am sorry to hear you are having trouble. I can only share what I have felt for the last few weeks. I am almost 4 months post hysterectomy and a few weeks ago, maybe 4 weeks ago now, I felt my bladder was heavier and I was emptying my bladder more frequently, and it sounds strange but I felt like my bladder was folded. This frequency of urination has persisted for the last 4 weeks and I don't know why but now I wonder if my bladder has dropped and I feel a bit of a bulge in the front wall of my vagina - to go with the bulge in the back wall which is a rectocele. Because I have an appt. with a gynaecologist on June 4, I will wait until then and ask about my bladder, although the appt. is really to see about the rectocele. My bladder was painful for the first few months, but just cramping when emptying it, but I did not have this urge to empty it every half hour or every hour until 4 weeks ago and that is what is puzzling and it's very annoying as I had fibroids pressing on my bladder before the hyster and I thought I had got rid of my full bladder feeling, but now I seem to have it back.
I hope you get some answers to your question and I wish you a good recovery.

Canada28,
Once you do have a prolapse, you are at risk for another - so please see your doctor about your symptoms. With my cystocele, I had both the feeling of a bulge in my vagina and my bladder was constantly irritated - had a constant feeling of having to pee. So as a result I went 25+ times a day and felt like I was 'holding' it all day long. I hope you find a simple solution to your symptoms. Hugs.

Canada,
Have you considered bladder spasms? In my experience it actually felt like a fish jumping around inside. There are presriptions out there that can help, and other more aggressive possibilities (I was told about Botox injections to the bladder, and Interstim implants ). I just thought bladder spasms sound like a possibility. Any chance that dreaded urge incontinence has reared its ugly head?
