Getting a little worried

It has almost been 4 months since my hyst . Things are going realitinely well, minus the depression that I can't seem to shake. There are other issues at hand.......A cancerous growth was found within my uterus, so now I'm a human pin cushion to make sure everything else is fine. I have to undergo a right ankle arthroscopy, with a synovial excision and a lateral ankle ligament recronstruction. This is all happening on Thursday. I just feel like my world is spinning out of control. Having these 2 surgeries so close together, is killin me. I am currently taking something for anxiety/depression, but my doc is telling me he's switching it because he doesn't like my moods.......I can't even dispute the issue he says, if I want to get better. I personally think there's just too much on my plate, and I feel really alone. DH is being as supportive as he can be, but hes @ work for 16hrs a day, so there's not alot of 1 on 1 with us........but if I need him, I know he'll be here. I'm sorry for rambling on, but you other sister are awesome to vent to, gain advice, or a new perspective.......

Getting a little worried

Aww, I'm sorry you are feeling so down. It's sounds like you are needing some s. When we don't feel well it can be much harder to handle the stressors in life. Surgery can be a major stressor for many people. Having another surgery so close to your hyst must be hard. It sounds like you are taking care of business though and doing what you need to do to feel better, and that is something to feel proud of.
Are you giving yourself credit for all the things you have been juggling on that plate?

I hope your prescription change helps your depression and hope that all goes well with your upcoming surgery & recovery too.
Hang in there.
Sending gentle s your way.
Beth
