in the weeks prior to surgery...

Hello Girls,

Im in search of suggestions for things we can do to prep or assist our bodies as we wait for our turn.

For example, Ive read bits here and there about vitamin supplementation and eating lighter...etc....

Please lets hear everyones ideas for personal TLC.

All Ive really done so far is giving up coffee/espresso. My nerves are so frazzled, I was looking for anything that might exasperate my being on edge continually. After a few days of headaches, I was fine!

thank you all once again, for being here....oh, and I see my Dr Thurs the 28th, for pre-op consult and surgery scheduling.

My doc recommended that I start on stool softeners right away because I'm prone to constipation. He said it will make life easier for me post op...especially with the codeine I'm going to be taking for the pain. I imagine it will.


3 weeks and 4 days to go....but who's counting?
