my confessions my confessions

okay, here goes - also in my 49th year. I had been involved with WW last year but when I was at the doc's last week have gained 56 pounds since last Aug's appt! Now at my highest - 264# on my 5'9" frame. I can claim that working up to the hyst did some of that damage but the reality is that I quit exercising before the surgery and never got back to it afterwards either! I also felt that I 'deserved' that slice of pie or sweets...

Even worse , I have both a Pilates reformer and a treadmill in my own living room! (Not much room for other things in there...) and have only used them 3X since my Dec. surgery! I prefer walking outside and did do that 3X in the last week (since the Doc's)

I would love to set a goal to drop down again - at least into the 210 range - since I know this has always been a struggle for me and that the HRT may make it harder!

But I WILL get on each piece of equipment for 20 minutes today. and report in here to let you know of my progress! Luckily I am attuned to all the water consumption and no coke addictions - but the water can get pretty riduculous when you are downing glass 10 or so... (no, no diabeties)and then 'exercise' your bladder half the evening...

Thanks sisters, for another round of inspiration!

Way to Go Jan!!!!

We are all with ya on this!
I too have to do the treadmill thingy everyday for my bone density more than for my weight, but I could use to lose a few too so I will be stepping right along with you everyday!!

Don't look at the numbers Jan, go with what you feel good at. I actually don't even own scales anymore, but having doctor visits so often of late, I do know I have gained about 20 lbs since my hysterectomy last September.

I think its great that you also have a pilates....I am thinking about one of those myself!!! They are a great stress buster!!

See ya on the treadmill girl!!!!
We can do it!
