Having Surgery Tomorrow-June 4

Thanks so much for your good wishes, BJ. Yes, waiting & not knowing is very difficult. I'm getting through this period with a lot of positive thoughts, prayers, caring friends and family.

Please remember that there is always a doctor "on call", if you should run into any problems with your bowel prep. I didn't realize that back in November when I had my TAH. I was unable to keep down the Phospho-soda. They can prescribe pills that have the same end result. Also, when I did the bowel prep this time, they gave me suppositories (Reglan) to control the nauseau, which allowed me to take the Phospho-soda without any problems. This time around, I mixed the Phospho-soda into flat Sprite, which was a lot more palatable for me.
