What if Aunt FLo comes?

They will still do the surgery if you have your period. I think Aunt Flo will be in for a rude awakening!!

What if Aunt FLo comes?

I had my period when I went in. The doc had given me meds the last week before surgery to stop the bleeding since it kept going and going. The morning of the surgery I thought it had stopped but when I walked down the hallway to pre-op (in my hospital gown and no underwear) I started bleeding again. It dripped all along the floor. I was so embarrassed. Aunt Flo's last attempt at bothering me.
NO MORE.

What if Aunt FLo comes?

I started my period several days prior to surgery and man was old Aunt Flo raging! I told the nurse that was preparing me for surgery and she said that it was absolutely not a problem. I was given a mesh set of underwear and a pad to wear under my gown. I was really nervous, but the nurse really put me at ease. She said it was very common for women to be on there period and that it wouldn't be a problem. Don't worry. Aunt Flo will not affect your surgery. Was nice to wake up in recover and know that I would never have to put up with her again!
