Estrace Cream...How Much?

Gals, the Dr switched me from Premarin vaginal to Estrace upon my request. I felt a Bio-Identical might be better for me. On the Premarin I was taking 1/2 gram every other night. When I picked up the RX for the Estrace the dosage is the same, 1/2 gr every other night. How much do you folks take for maintenance? Everything I read says 1gr...but I do know that Doctors differ in their approach so thought I would double check with you folks before I discuss with him on my appt 6/26.

My doctor prescribed 2 gr. once a week, but I have been able to do 1 gr. once a week.

We are all different, and you will have to see what works for you. I try to use the least that will work for me, or it is too much and messy.
