yellow discharge

I'm almost 5 weeks post op and for the last week have been having a yellow discharge. No odd smells, I'm guessing it's just the end to all the spotting and will eventually fade away. I still have to wear a panty liner .Anyone else have this? And how long did it last?

yellow discharge

Hi Eliza
I had this at five weeks when I went in for a check up. My dr said the yellow discharge was caused by yellow stitching material dissolving. I had to wear a pany liner until my 7th week. I think it's normal as long as you don't have a foul odor with it.

yellow discharge

I just posted on another thread that my discharge was getting lighter in color. Instead of being rust/brownish, it is now yellow. I figure it's because I'm getting to the tail end of discharging.....I hope I'm right. I'm 4 weeks out and have had spotting/discharge the entire time. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. I wasn't worried, but I did think it was a little odd.

I'm 4 weeks Post Op tomorrow and for the past few days I have also been getting this same Yellow discharge with no Odour. I was getting a little worried, but I'm guessing it's all part of the healing process.

yellow discharge

This is happening with me as well. The first five weeks I had just a few spots here & there and then the end of the 5th week I had a major discharge after a nap: the entire liner was covered and complete with mucous too. I can't tell if there's a smell because of my stupid allergies, but the color changes from yellow to rust to light pink back to yellow and rust, etc. This entire past week I've been cramping up, my back hurts, my head hurts, my boobs hurt and the spotting is like a light period now because it's constant. I'm six weeks out today and was hoping to be DONE with this crap by now. The added stress of DH not having the webbles to tell his parents not to come and the three of them giving me no say doesn't help the stress level much and they will be here tomorrow. With their dog that I've repeatedly told them I don't want here. I plan on hibernating in my room and Lord help my MIL if she walks in.......

Right now I'm waiting for my doctor to call me back and I hope it's soon because I have to take my Holland lop in to get his nails trimmed and I don't want my friend to sit around all day waiting on me.

I was a bit surprised that I hadn't had any discharge since the hospital. However, yesterday after my shower it came in a sudden splash of yellowish beige-ish colour. There is no bad odor thankfully. It continues today but it's not anything that a panty liner can't handle. I see the Doc on Monday for my post op appt.

I'm just over 3 weeks post op and I really do feel pretty good. I was only bedridden at the hospital. I have been lounging on the couch but always awake...I am jealous a bit of those who can snooze!

Hang in there ladies!
