Unhappy - Breaking point Breaking point

Things had been going very well for a couple of weeks and I thought I could just keep going until wellness was achieved. I just started having spasms again this is day 2 and I just have cried and cried. I am so spent emotionally that I just want to shut down. PT said to try hot water bottle and drinking hot tea. The weather is in the high 80's here. If it doesn't work with hot water bottle and tea then she will call my gyn for me because I am so drained. I also don't want to call him because I'm the patient that never goes away. I am just exhausted!

s for you, Country. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I don't have any suggestions to offer, but I'll send my best wishes along. Hopefully between the PT and your gyn, you can get some relief.

Take care and let us know how you're doing.

Oh, you were doing so well! I have a thought....remember with the hyst we would have a few good days and then a bad one or two? : I still feel like that with this rectocele repair. I have longer periods of good days but then I do slip a little and have a bad day or two. It has been 4 1/2 months and you would think that it would all be good days but it is not. My perineal pain gets better and then kind of flares again. DH and I played last night and I feel swollen and sore today. Last week it felt better! With all the trauma we go through it seems that the healing is on a bumpy graph and not a smooth line upward to full recovery.

Try not to get too upset. Maybe this is a little backslide and some rest will help. I really know how disheartening it is to feel bad when you think it is more than time to feel perfect!!

diverchick,
The tea (forgot to mention it had to be herbal or decaf) and hot water did nothing except to make me hotter. PT hoped it would calm things down. I woke up this morning shaking again. PT suggested maybe I m having problems with low blood sugar and to try eating something with protein before bed. I am puzzled about this low blood sugar thing because you would think it affects me also during the day?(which it does not) She said she is going to call the Dr about the spasms and idea of low blood sugar. I most likely will not hear back from Dr today.
Kathiem, I think it is compiling stress that is just catching up with me. Insurance has been a big battle resulting in having to switch (not on our part) insurance because of a law suit(not mine).
Now I'm battling with new insurance about pre-existing condition. Also had to take a higher deductible. Dr doesn't want to see me until this is all resolved. Vacation time is coming this weekend and hopefully some time to forget about all this.

Best blessings to you..

Countrybumkin - Sorry that you're having such a bad day...you sound so frustrated. Sounds lame but can you just be by yourself..light a candle..put on some relaxing sounds..and try to get your mind somewhere else? Kind of a last resort when all else seems lost, I know, but it helps me when I'm really at wit's end sometimes. Indulge yourself a little, you deserve it.
