Everyone's Invited! Pity Party Tonight!

Hey, Gals!

I guess I'm having my own personal pity party tonight...My children are finally in bed...after screaming and crying fits from both of them...My hubby is tucked away in his tv room downstairs...I often refer to it as a dungeon...The dog is outside scratching the door to come in...and I'm stuck in my room with Aunt Flo...

She arrived at my doorstep this afternoon TOTALLY uninvited and extremely unwelcome! If I had known who was knocking on the door when I opened it, I would have slammed it in her face! No really!!! I knew that I had been feeling like &*^%, but I had no idea...I feel like my insides are going to fall out and WoW :wow: am I in a mean mood!

I feel like dog poop and I'm tired of being friendly at the moment...My DH wants to invite a work friend of his and the guys wife over for dinner tomorrow night...I told him that I didn't feel like being friendly and acting happy tomorrow with people I don't know...His response was "I'll grill the dinner and help clean up"....NO...You don't get it...I tried (as nicely as my hoppin' hormones would allow) to explain that I don't want to entertain right now and it may be a month or more before I'm up to it...After talking, he seems like he gets it a bit better...And I did score a backrub too...

My back hurts, my head hurts, my "tummy" hurts, my leg hurts and does anyone else get diarrhea??? I keep reading about constipation, but I seem to go to the opposite extreme...

Sorry for the whining...I know that most of us don't feel good...I was just hit a bit off guard with the unwanted visitor showing up in my panties...Again, Sorry!

Here's to hoping my mood improves for tomorrow!

GeorgiaDawg....

LOL!!! you sound like me!! I get HORRIBLE, I mean get-me-to-the-nearest-hole-FAST diarrhea with my period!! The only good thing I can say about the entire process is I am usually 5 lbs lighter after Aunt Flo!!

My kids are still running around...but I am going to fix that right now!

Georgia, I'm sorry AF decided to arrive unexpectedly again!!!! I am at least lucky in that aspect the pills I'm on have stopped that so far. (After bleeding for abour 4 months STRAIGHT) My kids, dh, dog and cat are all fast asleep now but I hurt too freakin' bad again and my tummy seems to be having sympathy pains for you tonight.. had to cut our evening out short b/c I felt like my inards were tearing their way out!!! Funny the diarrhea always accompanied my period.. AND my pregnancies.. that's was always the first indicator for me! Anyway, I REALLY hope you are feeling better, glad you got the backrub, my dh wouldn't stay up for me!

Crazy isn't it...I have been known to gain 8-10 pounds for my visit...

I can't wait to just be thin or be fat...just pick one (thin would make me happiest of course) I just want to be able to wear the same clothes during a months span...

Hahaha.. had to giggle at that. I noticed yesterday my right side seems swollen compared to my left. I can feel my hip bone and have a dip on my left side but not so on the right.. my dh thinkgs I'm nuts I think. I'm down 34 pounds (now had gained some when I switched jobs and sat on my butt all day instead of being on my feet) but can't figure out any medical reason for it so I'll just be happy being small as high school again (like 115 pounds.. lord help me) Hey.. this pity party has been fun..

Pretty soon you'll be on the other side and it will feel soooo good. I'm 4 weeks out and I haven't felt this good in years. Hang in there, Sandy

I know that feeling. Instead of "skinny jeans" and "fat jeans" I have "skinny jeans" and "rag sweatpants"...because there ain't no way in h*@# I am putting jeans on during the visit. UHH...the mere thought!

This brings me to another question...

you don't gain weight after the hyster if you leave in an ovary, do you?

Danielle...you bled for FOUR straight months?? God bless you! I thought I had it bad!

Sassy, I had to lose my left ovary due to a cyst, but I still have my right one and I'm down 2 pounds without trying. Sandy

I hate to say it but I had to giggle a little bit at some of the comments made.
I know its suppose to be a pity party but some of the things were just amusing to me.

Anywhooo....sorry to hear you are having a bad night Georgia but relieved I am not the only one that goes thru this. I read this post to my Dh and he said "wow that sounds familiar" about the part where you didn't want to entertain and be friendly. I don't know how many times I have told him that when he wanted to invite someone over.

for ya and hope you are feeling much better tomorrow!!
