I am so happy to report that I have NOT had any ice cream. This challenge has been the greatest thing.
Todays Bkfst is cheerios w/ff milk and a glass of light soy milk and I may toss a few blueberries in my cheerios.
snacks will be yogurt and fruit
lunch will be cottage cheese and a wrap.
dinner will be at neighbors sons graduation party, I know she has some OP things planned.
What a beautiful weekend we are having here, it rained on Thursday and has been cool and sunny since.
Have a wonderful weekend being OP and Hydrated and all of you who are traveling be safe and those who aren't feeling well and those of you who are doing great

I had not jumped on the challenge wagon, but starting today I'm on the no Ice Cream challenge! (Yes I had some yesterday, but I wasn't doing the challenge then!)

This a.m. I've had muesli & tea
veggie sandwich for lunch
dinner I'm at a graduation party ...not sure what that will mean! I'll try my hardest to be OP.

I've been out this a.m. to a yardsale and now back home washing up my finds...DH won't be happy over the amount, but I spent under $15. so that's a good thing...it's just the size of the items I bought when we're TRYING to downsize...

Exercise for me is stretching...I'm doing so much better sleeping in that crazy recliner, and I'm rested again...I might try the bike later, but not sure if I should until I get clearance from the doctor...????

Hi again BEST friends, Happy Saturday! I was able to sleep late then took Cooper to the vet (staph infection on paw, poor thing) and picked my mother up to do some errands, just got home so I hope to take another nap before I head back over for dinner. I don't want to be totally lazy, but I still feel that I need extra rest when I can get it.

Margo and Ali on the ice cream successes. I am not even trying this weekend. Might make some lowfat ice cream (skim milk and evaporated milk, with beaten powdered eggwhites for volume and texture) if I get around to it, but would rather just now.

better sleep now or forever hold my peace!

made that lowfat ice cream and it's the making of it that's fun for me. The eating is not very interesting, but it might be good for DH LT later on. Or else I'll just throw it out Tomorrow we have scheduled cake at my parents, in order to "celebrate" my birthday. My aunt and my sister kept asking me "what are we going to do for your birthday: and my response has been "as little as possible" but I realized that was kind of rude, so after breakfast with Dad tomorrow we'll have our celebration with cake, then on Monday we'll all go to lunch since one favorite restaurant here offers a free lunch on one's birthday. That way no one has to feel like they have to take me out. Also I'm very pleased that my father is looking forward to going I hope his enthusiasm lasts. Things can change very easily.

I walked and did some resistance exercises today. I'm planning to include those daily until I start to feel like I'm building a little more muscle again. No elliptical today, baked a cake instead, bad substitution but that's the way it was today.

I hope everyone has a wonderful tomorrow, and I hope the quiet list means everyone is out having a fun summer day doing what you like to do!

Well, difficult as it was to let go of Buddy's beautiful avatar, I had to do it. I have to give Cooper a chance to be a star, so here we are. He's wearing little devil horns in a picture from last Halloween. He was not a happy camper. I'm a mean mommy.

I just returned from a graduation/birthday party, and wish to report that I had a tiny piece of grad. cake, and not one bit of ice cream all day!!
