Bladder tack

I have been reading about what all is involved in different types of bladder tack procedures, but am having a hard time finding anything out about what to expect afterwards. I am scheduled for the castle on July 3, yet to be determined if I keep my ovaries or not. But as long as the hood is up, I am considering having my bladder repaired now vs a few years from now. Eventually it will need some help. After 4 pregnancies it's just not what it should be. Also trying to understand if a vaginal vault repair would eleviate the heavy fealing I get in my pelvis when I stand too long, and what it would do to my sex life.
I'm off to cook some more double meals to have in the freezer.

Peace,
Uglyhat

bladder tack

Hi uglyhat,
I opted to have my bladder tied up while I was having everything else done also. The urologist said I didn't need it but once the uterus is out the bladder will fall & I would be back in a couple of yrs. I had mine put in a sling, I don't know if this is how they are all done or not.
I woke up with a catheter and had it the 2 & 1/2 days in the hospital. When they took it out I would have to pee for them & the nurse would check to see how much I was emptying my bladder.
Good luck on what you decide.
