How did your Fibro DX?

I am seeing a Neurologist and he has fiven me an MRI and it has shown no pinched nerves no sciatic problems. Now he is going to run some pain related blood tests.

He mentioned Fibro but wants to check other tests first. Can you please tell me what the test was to tell if you had Fibromyalgia?

This has been a painful process to find out why I wake up every night and have back spasms, pinched nerves, leg and pelvic cramps, and the need to get up and run to the bathroom.

I am not looking for any dx just want to know how your fibro was initially found?

Fibro is dianosed by pressing on trigger points on various parts of your body. I think there's 18? If you have 11 postive, then you have fibro. It's very simple. By positive I mean your pain is more pronounced than others would be when pressing on that area. They also ask questions about your other symptoms. Hope that helps a bit.
